Child Safety Standards
AluNet is committed to the safety of everyone who uses our app, and in particular to protecting minors from harm. This page describes our standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and how we enforce them.
Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation
AluNet has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any form of child sexual abuse or exploitation. This includes, but is not limited to: creating, uploading, or sharing CSAM; grooming or sexualised communication with minors; attempting to arrange in-person meetings with minors for the purpose of abuse or exploitation; and trafficking or advertising related to the sexual exploitation of children.
Any such content or behaviour is strictly prohibited on AluNet under our Terms of Service.
Who can use AluNet
AluNet is intended for university alumni and students, and is not directed at children. Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account, as set out in Section 3 of our Terms of Service and Section 2 of our Privacy Policy.

If you encounter content or behaviour on AluNet that you believe violates these standards, you can report it:
- In the app: use the report function on any user profile to flag the account and describe your concern.
- By email: contact us at alunetapp@gmail.com. Reports are reviewed by our designated child safety contact.
We review all reports promptly. You do not need to be the affected person to submit a report.
How we respond
When we become aware of content or conduct that violates these standards, we take immediate action, which may include: removing the content, permanently banning the responsible account, preserving evidence as required by law, and reporting the material and account to the relevant authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or the competent national law enforcement and child protection authorities in the relevant jurisdiction.
Compliance with law
AluNet complies with all applicable child safety laws in the regions where the app is available, including obligations to report confirmed CSAM to the appropriate authorities. We cooperate with law enforcement requests relating to child safety in accordance with applicable law.
